1. What's included in TechPod™?

  • Lecturer screen - 17" flat TFT LCD monitor.
  • New Interactive Pen Display (optional) (read more...)
  • High performance computer with network connection.
  • CD/DVD player.
  • Multi-system videotape for playback of all VHS tapes.
  • Complete lecture hall audio system and microphone.
  • Document-Camera to allow presentation of photos, papers and 3D objects with electric zoom control.
  • Laptop computer connection - quick connection for guest-lecturer computer.
  • TechPod™ designed metal housing
  • The TechPod™ is connected to the halls' projector or any other presentation device.

2. How does TechPod™ work?

  • The electronic equipment is securely locked. By opening the side door, the equipment will automatically start operating.
  • Selecting presentation source with "One Button" system - selecting computer, DVD, video, camera or laptop computer picture with one button!
  • The selected display appears on both lecturer screen and on the halls' screen simultaneously.
  • The sound will switch automatically with the selection of the required source.
  • At the end of the lecture - simply close the door and the valuable equipment remains safe and secured!
    There is no need to disassemble or disconnect the equipment cables!

3. How does the Interactive Pen Display work?
The new Interactive Pen Display of TechPod has been designed for those, who want to combine the advantage of a pen tablet with a high-quality LCD display.
The new display allows the user to input data directly on-screen – with greater speed and accuracy thanks to the perfect hand-eye-coordination. It servers as a perfect companion for any presentation. Control and sketch on your presentation or any other software application without turning your back to the audience.
Navigate, sketch and write directly on the screen! It can also replace your old chalkboard!
The Interactive Screen is more natural, intuitive and far more ergonomic than everything you used to use at work. It enables you to work directly with a pen on the full colored display.
The unique interactive pen is the first in the world to work through the protective glass of TechPod, keeping your system protected and safe!

4. How does TechPod™ save me money?
TechPod™ is cost effective. No more valuable lecture time that goes to waste, technical problems and constant systems failures. TechPod™ keeps your equipment locked and secure.
TechPod™ is reliable, easy to maintain and can be upgraded to comply with future needs.

5. Will I be able to maintain TechPod™?
Maintenance of TechPod™ is easy.
The systems come with full user manual and maintenance guide.


6. Can a guest lecturer computer be connected?
Yes. There is a special SVGA and audio connection for that purpose.

7. What kind of equipment can be used?
TechPod™ includes all multimedia equipment in it. Simply connect to the power and the system works. No need for other cables or external equipment.

8. Is TechPod™ mobile? Can it be carried between lecture halls?
As TechPod™ is connected to the halls' projector, electricity, network and sound systems, it requires installation in the lecture hall. However, we can supply TechPod™ with optional extension cable kit (up to 10 meters) to be moved from the center of the stage, for example, to a side room in the hall.

9. What type of external display will I need?
TechPod™ connects to almost all SVGA-type projectors or plasma display.

10. What if my lecture hall is larger than usual?
In cases of large lecture halls, TechPod™ audio system can be connected to an external, high performance audio system via Line Out connection.

11. Will I be able to "upgrade" TechPod™ in the future?
Yes. TechPod™ was designed to include future developments such as wireless LAN connections, future display and computer technologies and more.

12. What colors and design are offered?
TechPod™ is offered in a standard aluminum brushed front and silver gray color.
Special projects and quantities could be offered with options.

13. For what kind of lecture halls is TechPod™ designed for?
TechPod™ is designed to meet almost all lecture halls. Successful existing installations include small classes (30 people) to very large halls (1100 seats). TechPod™ is designed for lecture halls and theaters in universities, educational institutes, military, companies, exhibitions centers & museums, hotels etc.

TechPod™ was designed and developed based on notes, requests and remarks given by professional lecturers and technical staff. We have hundreds of superior installations for more than 7 years in various organizations.

16. What are the size, dimensions and weight of TechPod™?
33.5" x 35.5" x 51" inch / 85 x 90 x 130 cm (W x D x H), 220lbs / 100kg with all equipment installed.
 

17. What certifications does TechPod have?
